A 2026 conceptual-design study compared what people did while waiting for an AI-generated image. In its 60-person experiment, sketching, rereading the brief, and resting all led to higher average creativity ratings than watching the progress display.
That is a narrow result from a short design task. It does not establish lasting skill loss, and it does not test this game. Odd Jobs offers practice in generating and revising your own ideas. It is a toy puzzle, not a simulation of real-world physics.
